3^rd Chakra - Solar Plexus Chakra - This Energy Center is for personal feelings, personal power and sensitivity.  The greatest need of this Chakra is to live in an organized world where everything is orderly and disciplined, to be an intellectual and an individual. This Center is the foundation of the personality.  It radiates the characteristic of fire - it has qualities of expansiveness, warmth & joy.

This Center is associated with problems of the spleen, gall bladder, liver, stomach, pancreas, and all questions of emotional sensitivity.  It governs eyesight and the assimilation of food.

This is where we carry anger, hostility, rage and issues that we feel threaten personal power, feelings of free will and ambition.  This is a clearinghouse for emotions.  Digestive problems come out of this Chakra.

A lotus flower with 10 petals - several shades of red.  The color of this Chakra is YELLOW; it resonates to the note of E.  The Mantra  is Ram.  Aroma is lavender, rosemary, and bergamot.  The image in nature to focus on is sunlight, a ripe wheat field, or sunflowers.
